LEGIT! The best BBQ we've had in Seattle ever, and we've been here since '95. We shared the 2 meat 2 side platter. We got brisket and ribs, Mac n chz and cowboy beans and added on slaw. The sauce/condiment bar is clean and neat with 5 types of sauce and pickled cherry peppers & jalapeños.
The food came out fast and hot. The brisket was tender and the ribs were meaty. I liked a combo of the Texas spicy(thick) and mild (thinner) sauce. The Mac n chz was tasty but surprisingly the slaw was our favorite side. The cowboy beans weren't what I was expecting, it was in a thin sauce and peppery. For some reason I got it in my head we were getting baked beans. I scooped out the beans on my plate and put some Texas sauce on it. Delicious!
We killed that entire platter for lunch, and it was a generous portion! I found out after from my husband that they bake their own white bread. I wish I hadn't let him eat my slice.
Can't wait to go back again. Those Grand Prairie Texans did it right! -

You've got your bacon, add to that different cuts of pork and beef that has been barbecued Texas style for at least overnight, you have some good eat'n. But there's more: a BBQ sauce bar with six types of wonder you can mix together and you've got the fix'ns for some really good lunch or dinner. And there's bottled beer... and there is some hard ciders.
Now go wake some bacon! -

Found this place through yelp, I was craving some good BBQ. Hands down this place is so DANG good. Their brisket was our favorite. Literally MELTS in your mouth, so delicious.

Wow! What a great little place! I'm giving five stars for the following reasons: customer service, food, and cleanliness.
First the customer service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We were greeted right away by a friendly smile that was warm and inviting. We met the owners who were also very welcoming and treated us like family (or regulars).
Second, the food was fantastic and we got a lot of it. The menu was written up on the wall (see pic) and included sandwiches, sides, and meats. My husband and friend chose the ribs. Yummy! So much meat! I chose the macaroni and cheese and asked if they could add some bbq pulled pork on the top. They were intrigued and readily agreed to my request. There were also three serve yourself bbq sauces in the warming pans. All of the food was delicious. Needless to say I will have leftovers tomorrow because of the mass amounts of goodness!
Lastly it was clean! You could watch them cook out in the open. The tables were clean and the bathroom was also clean (bonus)
Oh I forgot about the brownies! We Got some to go. What a selection. Twix, butterfinger, And rocky road. Ummm YUM!
We will be back for sure. -

I have lived in Richmond beach pretty much my whole life and was surprised with how good the BBQ food was.
I ordered the 2 meat (beef brisket & ribs) + 2 sides (Mac and cheese & baked cowboy beans), also a side of 1/2 pulled pork and two jalapeño cornbread.
Out of all the meats I got my favorite was the beef brisket, it was super tender and easy to eat. The ribs and pulled pork were still pretty good. They have three homemade bbq sauces, my favorite was the spicy one. The baked beans were unique and smoky because they put chunks of the beef brisket in it. I like the cornbread because it was so moist and it had jalapeño flavor.
